Typical of YakAttack, what started as an idea for a simple offset RotoGrip paddle holder resulted in a product with a little more versatility. The DoubleHeader track mount can serve several different purposes, but in this case, it's the foundation for the perfect offset ParkNPole holder that our customers have been asking for since the launch of the DoubleHeader with dual RotoGrip paddle holders. The DoubleHeader with dual ParkNPole RotoGrips is compatible with 0.84-inch diameter shafts and has become a popular solution for kayakers who need a place to store their stakeout poles. But in the past, customers had to buy the individual parts and assemble them themselves. Not any more.
Same as using two RotoGrips on a single piece of track for a paddle, you cover the entire length of the track with your paddle, making the open track space unusable. The DoubleHeader in this configuration eliminates the problem completely and displaces the ParkNPole RotoGrips from the kayak, allowing full functionality of the remaining track space for other accessories. If you're short on track space, the DoubleHeader includes an additional feature to add LockNLoad accessories like YakAttack rod holders, camera mounts, and more. Simply swap out the original knob from the DoubleHeader for the LockNLoad base on a rod holder or other accessories, and you can have multiple accessories on a short track section or a single attachment point like a MightyMount II. The DoubleHeader track mount is compatible with YakAttack GearTrac, MightMount XL, MightyMount Switch, MightyMount II, and most other factory-installed kayak tracks.
Two different track disks are included with the DoubleHeader. These two track disks are designed to provide a tight fit in either the standard YakAttack GearTrac (GT90, GTSL90, GT175, MightyMount XL) or the wider opening on the YakAttack Top Loading family of GearTrac (GTTL90 and GTTL175). If a track system came with your kayak, try both and decide which fits best.
For added ParkNPole safety, two SnapNStrap safety lines are included in the DoubleHeader and ParkNPole RotoGrip. To secure your ParkNPole, unhook the bungee tab from the stowed position on the base of the DoubleHeader, wrap it around the shaft of your pole and loop it over the tab on the outside of the ParkNPole RotoGrip.
