The DropShot Anchor Reel is a compact and reliable anchoring solution designed specifically for anglers who demand simplicity, durability, and precise control on the water. Whether you’re fishing in light currents, wind, or around structure, the DropShot Anchor Reel makes it smooth and easy to deploy and retrieve the anchor.
The DropShot is built around an anti-reverse clutch and a sealed bearing system, delivering reliable performance in both freshwater and saltwater environments. The variable air resistance system allows you to adjust the anchor’s descent, giving you complete control over the deployment speed. An integrated positive spool pressure system helps prevent slack. The open spool housing design promotes airflow and faster drying of your anchor line after a day on the water.
The included 15-meter, 3-mm marine polyester line features YakAttack’s signature black-and-orange color combination with an integrated reflective strip for increased visibility in low light. The adjustable crank handle can be set to three different lengths, allowing you to customize the leverage and radius of rotation to your preferences. The adjustable handle length features a locking position and will protect your knuckles in tight spaces when the anchor reel is mounted next to the kayak’s frame seat.
The DropShot anchor reel is designed to fit a wide variety of modern fishing kayaks and comes standard with a flat mounting base, plus an optional 45-degree angled mounting base for versatile installation options.
