When you want to anchor with your kayak, you can use the windlass to choose which direction you want the wind from. Super easy to move the anchor point from, for example, fore to aft, which can be very useful, for example, when static fishing or measuring a fish.
NOTE. The screws that come with this product are unfortunately in the shortest layer, and may need to be supplemented if the hull is of a thicker type.
