Started fishing from a kayak in 2016, got a Slayer 14.5 as a 40th birthday present and was hooked straight away. Pike fishing is absolutely number one but perch has become much more interesting since I landed my first kilogram perch in August 2020. Love fall fishing for pike and preferably trolling with large rubber baits. I'm a bit of a bait nerd and probably own a little too many and expensive handmade pike baits. The freedom, mobility and community in kayak fishing is what drives me. Met so many new friends and created new acquaintances through this common interest.
