Kayak fishing - What a thing!
I have now at the time of writing passed six months as a kayak fisherman!
As I currently live in an apartment and have difficulty with storage of any kind of boat or kayak, when the two-piece kayak Angler 280s came into the warehouse, it immediately became a match.
It fits in the car but also in my storage room where I live.
Life with a kayak has really created the opportunity for me to just go when I want, fish new lakes and "modify" the kayak itself with my needs for extra equipment.
It really feels like it is a part of myself.
For me, fishing is very much about equipment and optimization. Now that I have everything in place, when I make a commitment to go on an adventure, I really feel a sense of freedom and relief.
I have already made some ventures, including a solo trip to Kalmarsund. It was really a spontaneous trip. I have not been so super good at fishing down there in late fall so I went down with zero need to catch a borre but the desire was obviously there. I learned a lot and got a great result considering previous experiences. A fish that really made the trip, a new weight PB of 1840gr!
Thanks to kayak fishing, I could "plop" in the kayak almost anywhere I wanted. It is really easy with a kayak!
Now I'm looking forward to an early spring so I can go on more adventures. I have some plans, but among other things to hunt 1800gr+ borers in the lake! To also get more into the kayak community. I have already been in a competition that took place in Stockholm. I came in last place with several others haha! But fun to meet people and get into the gang!
I'm pretty keen on documenting all my fishing via Instagram:

So make sure to follow and you can see almost everything I do with my fishing!

Best thing about fishing: The equipment-> the planning-> the execution-> the reflection. The journey.
